Company history
The company was created by the first Meynier generation. At the beginning, it was a horn, bone and boxwood galalith turning factory.
Later on, the activity evolved towards the manufacture of buttons for shoes and clothing.
Taken over by the second generation, the manufacture of buttons became the main activity. The company is essentially a wholesaler and distributor of haberdashery.
The manual activity of turning is modernized to meet the demand. Moreover, it integrates the use of polyester, a plastic material that allows a wide range of aesthetic.
The third generation of Meyniers joined the company’s management.
They set up of the injection activity.
The creation of a polyester resin manufacturing workshop completed the company’s skills.
At the height of its development, the company employs about 100 people.
To face the massive relocation of textile and clothing activities, the company diversifies. Furnishing, luxury clothing, jewelry and costume jewelry, and then packaging for perfumery allowed the company to develop its activity.
Finally, the company acquires numerically controlled machines that allow the realization of more and more complex parts.
Today, our company continues its activity by relying on product and technical innovation.
